LVMH CAREER SEMINAR 2019

SMU and LVMH has established a five year strategic partnership via the new LVMH-SMU Asia Luxury Brand Research Initiative, which aims to produce and deliver independent and high quality academic research dedicated to the luxury brand sector and the Asian market.

One of the research initiatives is to develop a pool of talents by giving students the opportunity to develop strong working knowledge of the luxury industry and to engage in authentic research experiences, as well as by providing internships and career opportunities within the luxury sector.

The research collaboration with SMU is LVMH Group’s first such partnership with a local university in Asia.  It illustrates the Group’s long term commitment to Singapore and exemplifies the growing importance of the Asia-Pacific region as a region of quality and great potential.

The NINETH run since 2014, there is a total of 29 students selected to attend the immersion programme, delivered exclusively by the LVMH’s group of brand managers. The career seminar is attended by 42 students.

The preview was held on the 30 August 2019 attended by 77 students. Seniors executives from the LVMH group came down and share their experience working at LVMH. 

The upcoming immersion will be held on the 7th & 10th October 2019. Martin Roll, key brand strategist, will be coaching the students on the ins- and outs of luxury industry.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from a key business strategist in the luxury industry, connect with the Group’s passionate professionals, and to discuss the diversity of career opportunities within LVMH.

The fourth run since 2014, there is a total of 34 students selected to attend day 1 of the immersion programme, delivered exclusively by Professor Mark Ritson. The second day was attended by a total of 60 students, whom has benefited from the sharing of the HR managers from Louis Vuitton, Sephora and DFS.
