SYNOPSIS

Nic has over 30 years of experience across quantitative and qualitative research all over the world. As a Baby Boomer he can bring an intergenerational perspective to the topic of Millennials along with experience researching this cohort in multiple markets.

The TNS Singapore team of graphic designers, all Millennials themselves, report to Nic. Their remit is to ensure the look and feel of TNS deliverables is of a high standard. They are also tasked with creating material that uses the latest in digital design, so they keep up to date with market trends.

Nic has lived in Singapore for 8 years and has presented at numerous conferences both here in Singapore and at other venues around the world. In doing so he has won ‘Best paper’ at conference on several occasions.

Joy has 6 years of experience across quantitative and qualitative research and digital marketing. She works extensively in the digital space, focusing on technology usage and attitudes in areas such as e-commerce, gaming, social networking, mobile apps and pay TV. She is part of the Connected Life team that runs TNS’ global syndicated digital behaviours study. She is also an alumni of TNS Academy’s Social TER (Technology Enabled Research) Training series, covering approaches on infusing social data with survey projects.

She recently presented at D3, an annual digital impact conference organized by TNS. The conference audience consisted of about 200 senior marketing people, including attendees from major tech companies such as Uber, Spotify and LINE. Her presentation focused on a millennial’s perspective of chat apps and their unique evolution in Asia.
