SYNOPSIS
Every year Interbrand analyses and compiles a list of the world’s most valuable brands. We examine both the success stories and the strugglers; to understand the trends and lessons that all brands can apply. Recent years have been marked by three trends: The fall (and return) of finance brands, after the difficulties of the GFC. Second, the waves of technology brands; with Apple dethroning Coke as the world’s number 1 brand, but Blackberry and Nokia falling away. And finally the advent of the 'Age of You'; where brands form ecosystems around consumers, developing curated, personal experiences. Each year’s list throws up surprises, and we expect 2015 to be no exception.

As Executive Director at Interbrand Singapore Tristan manages the strategy practice and leads brand efforts for a broad range of clients.
Particularly interested in brand architecture and customer experience, Tristan is always looking to drive connections between strategy and execution to grow strong brands.
Tristan has over 12 years experience in marketing communications working with leading organizations in Europe, the U.S. and Asia. He began his career as a WPP Marketing Fellow where he worked at Ogilvy and Millward Brown. His experience spans market research, planning and brand consultancy. Tristan holds a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from Cambridge University where he studied Russian and French.
