The Marketing of Medical Devices : Challenges & Opportunity

by Alok Mishra,
CEO
Value Addition

Centre For Marketing Excellence presents to you :

Medical Devices is a large and complex industry which most people have very little exposure to. These can range from everyday products like contact lenses, condoms and thermometers to products used by skilled surgeons and medical practitioners in Hospitals and surgery.

The marketing of medical devices likewise is also quite complex with challenges that range from technology innovation, patient & clinical outcomes to regulatory, surgical education and market access issues. At the same time this is a field replete with opportunity for product, services and business model innovation and change as people live longer and governments face the challenge of funding healthcare in slower economic growth climate.

Alok has dwelt on these issues for the last 22 years and has created interesting perspectives and framework to help understand this complex domain.
